Collection planning assumptions
What scheduled service
includes.
The proposed Home Scheduled range covers a 28-day service cycle in a dense launch territory. It assumes a standard pickup window and no more than two fixed-route exchanges during that cycle.
Standard exchange
The planning range includes the rigid transit vessel, custody receipt, authorized processing, and one sanitized exchange-pool replacement for each completed exchange. An active unit becomes Collection ready 10 days after first use and reaches its age lock at 14 days.
Route conditions
Final pricing depends on route density, travel distance, service window, processing destination, and available sanitized inventory.
Exceptions
Customer-caused damage, prohibited input, missed handoff, and extraordinary demand use separate exception pricing. Provider-caused delays do not.
Regional eligibility
Where the pilot
can operate.
A launch region needs trained service coverage, enough sanitized C12 inventory, a compliant transport route, and an authorized destination. Shipping the hardware is only one part of regional eligibility.
Workspace fit
A level hard surface, compatible desk clearances, safe service access, and continued access to required building facilities.
Collection coverage
A route able to accept sealed C12 cartridges within local age, temperature, custody, and transport limits.
Resource recovery
BioCycle participation requires approved regional processing. Hardware or collection eligibility does not guarantee recovery eligibility.

Hardware validation, collection coverage, and processing eligibility have separate schedules. These answers describe the current pilot plan.
Does joining the list reserve a unit?
No. Joining records interest in launch access. It does not create an order, allocation, deposit, or guaranteed price.
When will pilot units be delivered?
The current target is 2027, subject to engineering validation, supply, certification work, collection readiness, and local regulation. We will provide a specific window only after a regional cohort is approved.
Will the proposed $99 reservation be refundable?
That is the current commercial plan. If reservations open, the proposed $99 deposit would be refundable and applied to purchase. Terms will be presented before any payment is requested.
Can I buy hardware without collection?
Not in the founding pilot. Customers must have an approved sealed-cartridge service path. C12 cartridges may not be opened, mailed, recycled, home-composted, or discarded through ordinary waste streams.
Is resource recovery included everywhere?
No. BioCycle Recovery and any Impact Ledger attribution depend on licensed local processing infrastructure. A region may support collection before it supports recovery.
What does the unit include?
The planned package includes the selected unit, two C12 Sealed Cartridges, one year of AirSeal filters, a cleaning kit, USB-C power, and two years of Cloud Essentials.
